How does PROP® technology work?
When a phosphorus fertilizer is applied without the protection provided by PROP®, only between 10 and 25% efficiency is achieved, since P is fixed by Ca ions (in calcareous soils) and Al/Fe (in acidic soils), leaving a large percentage NOT available for the plant, and preventing the mobility of P in the soil profile; key factor for effective nutrition.

PROP® Technical Background
The application of PROP® allows greater mobility and concentration of available P in the soil profile. While the P from other phosphorus fertilizers, such as monoammonium phosphate (MAP), are fixed at a surface level and with very low levels of P available for plants; PROP® reaches 8 times higher concentrations of P in solution within the first 30 cm of soil.
