Ultrasol^® calcium nitrate is an important source of calcium and nitric nitrogen, essential in fertigation programs and hydroponic systems.

Calcium is essential for cell wall formation and stability, and strengthens the plant’s natural defense system against pathogens.
Nitric nitrogen is the most efficient form of nitrogen for plants and enhances the uptake of cations (K+, Ca++, Mg++).
It cannot be mixed with sulfates and phosphates at high concentration or in alkaline stock solutions to avoid formation of insoluble salts.
