Ultrasol® micro Rexene® FeXQ58 is a water soluble and stable blend of HBED and EDDHA chelated iron (Fe). Chelation with HBED and EDDHA protects iron (Fe) from binding in the soil, keeping it available for plant uptake. This is especially important in alkaline and calcareous conditions where iron deficiency needs to be corrected or prevented to optimize plant yield and quality. High quality chelates make Ultrasol® micro Rexene® FeXQ58 a good choice for extending iron availability for a wide range of vegetable and fruit crops. The typical iron (Fe) content is 6.0%, of which 4.0% is the ortho-ortho isomer of Fe-HBED and 1.8% is the ortho-ortho isomer of Fe-EDDHA. It is stable within a pH range of 3.5 to 12.
